Brian Householder leads a worldwide executive team responsible for all facets of Hitachi Vantara's global operations to deliver timely, competitive and innovative solutions for the global market.
Prior to his current role, Householder served as chief operating officer, overseeing the daily global operation of Hitachi Vantara. Earlier, he held a similar role at Hitachi Data Systems (HDS), which integrated with several other Hitachi companies to form Hitachi Vantara. There, he held multiple positions of increasing responsibility in areas such as strategic planning, worldwide marketing, business development, partner enablement, and acquisitions. Householder helped lead many key initiatives at HDS, including the company strategy and direction, BlueArc, Shoden and Archivas acquisitions, and improvements to our marketing and partner enablement capabilities.
Householder joined HDS in 2003 from FilesX, where he ran the marketing and product management functions. Prior to that he was at Storage Networks where he served in senior product management and marketing positions. He also worked at The Parthenon Group, a strategy consulting and investment firm and was a senior financial analyst at Procter and Gamble. Householder holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Indiana University where he graduated summa cum laude. He earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School.
